If you know anything about standup comedy, then you know that Bill Burr is one of the most unapologetic, brutally honest, and also one of the funniest standup comedians in the game.

And now Burr is taking his talents to a different level…

The big screen.

The comedian is making his directorial debut in his upcoming movie Old Dads, which according to Collider, is a movie about three dads trying to make it through fatherhood. But not only is Burr directing the film, he’s starring in it as well, along with Bobby Cannavale and Bokeem Woodbine.

In the movie, the three dads all have children late in life, and they’re trying to catch up with the modern day world of fatherhood, which of course features Gen Z parents.

The movie is slated to premiere on October 20th on Netflix.

On top of that, we officially have a trailer for the upcoming film as well.

The trailer kicks off with Burr attempting to help a kid who hurt himself, and of course, uses an old school approach while a trendy parent nearby tries to assist (Burr didn’t listen).

The rest of the video continues to document the three fathers’ struggle to keep up with fatherhood in the modern world.

Old Dads was co-written, directed, and produced by Burr. Documentary filmmaker Ben Tischler co-wrote the screenplay and produced, along with Monica Levinson, Bill Block, and Mike Bertolina.

Other stars in the movie include Katie Aselton, Reign Edwards, Rachael Harris, Miles Robbins, and Jackie Tohn.
