Man oh man, we had another great one at Bristol Motor Speedway.

First off, the tension was through the roof at the Bass Pro Shops Night Race, as several drivers were clawing their way to advance in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

Denny Hamlin, who was welcomed with a ton of boos from the Tennessee crowd before the race, ultimately beat out Kyle Larson for the win (where he was once again met with a ton of boos).

He secured his spot in the next round, however last year’s champion Joey Logano, as well as Kevin Harvick (who will retire at the end of the season), Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Michael McDowell have been eliminated.

Every year, drivers are allowed to pick out their walkout songs for a handful of races, and luckily for us, the drivers got to pick theirs out at Bristol.

I mean c’mon, many of us have dreamed what our walkout songs would be if we played a sport at a high level, and considering the highest level of sports I ever played was division two college golf, I still think about to this day what my walkout song would’ve been if I was athletic enough to play a sport that featured it.

So, needless to say I was ecstatic when I saw the list for the driver walkout songs from this past weekend come out.

This year’s race at Bristol featured a number of country walkout songs, so I’m gonna go ahead and list them out for you:

Martin Truex Jr.- “Thinkin’ Bout Me” by Morgan Wallen

Bubba Wallace- “Long Violent History” by Tyler Childers

Ryan Blaney- “Rustin’ in the Rain” by Tyler Childers

Austin Dillon- “Cowboy” by Kid Rock (Still counting it)

Justin Haley- “Margaritaville” by Jimmy Buffett (RIP to the legend)

Chris Buescher- “Country Clubbin'” by Paul Cauthen

Ross Chastain- “Watermelon Moonshine” by Lainey Wilson

Ricky Stenhouse Jr.- “Speed” by Parker McCollum

JJ Yelley- “Cheeseburger In Paradise” by Jimmy Buffett

Ya gotta love the country music representation in NASCAR.
