Alabama Coach Nick Saban On What It Takes To Be Successful: “If You Want To Be The Beast, You’ve Got To Do What The Beast Do”

Man, it’s a great Friday.

Why? Because I get to go to sleep tonight knowing that college football will be all over the TV by noon tomorrow, and that’s a great feeling to have.

I can’t help but wonder who is going to be the top four teams in the country by the end of the regular season, and compete for a National Championship.

Will it be Georgia? Alabama? Michigan? Ohio State?

But speaking of Alabama, head coach Nick Saban put together one helluva statement during the press conference leading up to the Crimson Tide’s game against Middle Tennessee State tomorrow.

Saban said:

“I think everybody wants to do well. Everybody would like to be successful. Everybody is not willing to do the things you need to do to be successful.

You know, we had one speaker come here and show the biggest tiger I’ve ever seen. It took up the whole screen.

He said, ‘Everybody wants to be the beast, but everybody don’t want to do what the beast do.’ So, if you want to be the beast, you’ve got to do what the beast do.”

FIRE ME UP.

I know Alabama is projected to beat Middle Tennessee State by a ton tomorrow, but they might mess around and hang 100 on the Blue Raiders with Saban giving advice like this.

Needless to say, it seems like Saban and the Crimson Tide are in a great headspace coming into the 2023 season, and it’ll be interesting to see if they can make it back to the College Football Playoff after missing out last season.
