It’s no secret that Pete Carroll has had some great success as a head coach on both the college and NFL levels.

We’re talking about a guy who has won two National Championships as head coach for USC, and also a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks.

It’s incredibly rare to find a coach who has found this much success in both college and the NFL, but Carroll has done it, and continues to be successful even at the age of 71 years old.

However, if you go WAY back in the day, the guy was a star free safety at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, where he was a two-time all conference player.

And if you thought he has lost all of his athletic ability at the age of 71, think again…

Because the guy still has some juice left in him.

Carroll was seen running the offense as quarterback for the Seahawks in practice recently, and I must say, I hope I’m moving this good when I’m at that age.

In the video, you see him pull off an impressive pump fake and throw a dart to the wide receiver. On a separate play, he rolls to his right and delivers an impressive “Patrick Mahomes like” no-look pass.

He also threw some tight spiraled, deep, no-look passes to some receivers as well.

Geno Smith better watch himself, Coach Carroll is comin’ for his job.
