The wins just keep coming for ol’ Oliver Anthony.

Virginia native Oliver Anthony has become the most talked about artist in all of music, and less than a week ago, nobody even knew he who he was. Very few country music fans ever heard of him, let alone the rest of the world.

An true, blue overnight sensation who sits at #1 on the iTunes all-genre Top 100 chart.

Oliver has been posting many of his originals, as well as some covers, for the past year or so on TikTok, however it was a viral Radio WV performance of “Rich Men North Of Richmond” that has absolutely exploded, garnering the singer a massive audience.

So far, the video has earned nearly 7 million views in a matter of 4 days:

And while Anthony describes himself as “dead center” when it comes to politics, the powerful song about the working man’s plight has been embraced and promoted by Conservatives across the country, which in turn, has led to an outpouring of criticism from those on the Left side of the aisle.

A song about regular folks suffering under the power and control of the ruling elites in Washington DC has turned into a Left vs Right debate… shocker.

Anyways, Oliver was set to play some songs at a local farmer’s market in North Carolina this weekend, and let’s just say that more people showed up to hear him play than they did to get some farm fresh green beans.

There appears to be quite the crowd on hand, and even the great Jamey Johnson was in attendance.

Regarded as one of the best country songwriters in the business, Jamey Johnson stepped to the mic to sing his Grammy-nominated hit “In Color” alongside Oliver:

Oliver also took a moment to deliver a quick Sunday morning message to the crowd from the Book of Psalms.

He introduced himself by saying:

“It’s crazy to me, I remember back in June I played her for about 20 people… but that’s the beautiful part of this country, even an idiot like me can make something happen.

If I can do it, you can do it.”

Quite the crowd…
