Riley Green’s sophomore studio album is coming soon.

He announced during his opening set for Morgan Wallen at Ohio Stadium in Columbus last night that his next record, officially titled Ain’t My Last Rodeo, will be out everywhere on October 13th.

After waiting four years for a new project from the Alabama native, this is, quite literally, music to my ears:

“If y’all don’t mind, I’m gonna give y’all some news. My next album is coming out on October 13th, y’all are the first ones to know. I’m excited about it myself.

The album’s called ‘Ain’t My Last Rodeo,’ the title track is one I wrote. If y’all don’t mind, I’ll play y’all a brand new song.”

The Alabama most recently put out his major label debut record Different ‘Round Here in 2019, so needless to say, fans have been waiting quite a while for a new project.

Over the last several years, he’s put out a few EP’s and one-off singles, but of course, nothing beats a full-length album from one of your favorite artists, so I can’t wait to hear the whole record.

Riley released another single from the the album, the longtime fan-favorite “Mississippi or Me” yesterday, and previously debuted the title track at Rock the South about a month ago.

From the first couple songs I’ve heard, it sounds like this album will be in line with what we’re used to hearing from him, singing about life in the South, love and heartbreak, and how the little things really are what mean the most.

He has yet to reveal the full tracklist and album cover still, so get excited stay tuned…
