Last night marked the first night that football was back on TV, as the Cleveland Browns squared off against the New York Jets in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.
Of course, this was just a preseason exhibition game, so Aaron Rodgers and Deshaun Watson didn’t play at all, and both teams played their whole rosters which normally turns into a snooze fest after the first quarter.
Nevertheless, the Browns came from behind in the second half to defeat the Jets 21-16, to start their preseason 1-0.
As you could imagine, the crowd probably wasn’t too “electric,” considering this was a meaningless game filled with backups, and most were probably there just to get the first taste of football for the 2023 season.
But, as you’ll have it, we did have a brawl break out during last night’s game.
Okay, okay, “brawl” is a bit of an overstatement, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t get a little physical, as you can see a few Browns fans and Jets fans shoving each other over what appears to be some kind of beach ball altercation.
It was pretty tame, but ultimately you can see a Jets fan with a brutal Justin Bieber bowl but and another Jets fan in a jersey get escorted out of the stadium.
We then saw another one break out and a Browns fan get dragged out of the stadium by police.
In mid-season form… gotta love it.
