Happy Monday, y’all.

Today for the Song of the Week, we have a new one from Hailey Whitters called “I’m In Love.”

The title track to her just-released EP, the song was written by Nicolle Galyon, Lee Miller and Cameron Bedell, and Hailey says it’s one she wished she’d written, adding that she loves the “quirky language and spirit” as much as I do:

“I knew the minute I heard this song I had to record it.

I didn’t write it (Nicolle Galyon, Lee Miller, & Cameron Bedell did), but I wish I had. I love – pun intended – the quirky language and spirit.

Every time I sing it I’m smiling like a big ol sap because it just makes me so happy and puts me in a good mood.”

Like I said before, when it comes time to pick a new single for country radio, I can easily see this one becoming another fan-favorite, because it’s just so dang cute, super catchy, and very uniquely Hailey.

It’s easily the standout from her new six-song project, and the EP as a whole makes such a strong statement and feels like the sound that fits her so perfectly, with a lot of fiddle, steel and banjo and just the right amount of 90’s country flair in the production.

When I tell you I’ve had this song on repeat, I mean it… I haven’t heard a song that is this much fun in way too long.

Turn it up…
