Ryan Bingham’s next album, Watch Out For The Wolf, can’t get here soon enough.

The Yellowstone and independent country superstar just released “River of Love,” the second single for the new record. Following “Where My Wild Things Are,” which was a fantastic song that may have diverged sonically a bit from the sound fans typically associate with Bingham, “River of Love” slows things down and harkens back to the nostalgic sound of Bingham’s Mescalito days.

A love song with descriptive lyricism that showcases Bingham’s songwriting prowess, and a sound that proves why Bingham has stayed atop the non-mainstream country scene for over a decade, “Rivers of Love” is another fantastic track from his forthcoming project.

Check it out here:

“Turn my head and I look outside
And I wonder if I’m too late
It’s all in my mind
And I’m running behind on the words I’m a-wanting to say

Now I’m patiently standing here
I’ve been waiting all of this life
Find a little woman that talk like you do
Dancing in the firelight”

The full Watch Out for the Wolf project will be out in just a couple of weeks, officially dropping on August 11.

In the meantime, keep listening to Ryan Bingham’s music, and if you haven’t heard it yet, his previous single “Where My Wild Things Are.”

“My heart still holds the memories
Forgotten from my mind
Nothing to go back to now
No turning back the time
Up upon the mountain where
All my wild things are
This is where I sleep at night
Play my old guitar…”
