Back in February of last year, New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara was arrested for his involvement in a hotel fight in Las Vegas.

And the wildest part about the situation?

The NFL was told right before the annual Pro Bowl that there was a warrant for his arrest, and Kamara proceeded to play in the game, only to be arrested immediately after.

That’s some serious pressure… knowing that you could get locked up for a number of years while you’re playing in basically the NFL’s version of the All-Star game.

Video surveillance confirmed Kamara and his friends beat a man unconscious, and ultimately fracturing his eye socket.

With that being said, it’s now been announced that Kamara has struck a plea deal with prosecutors, according to TMZ.

Court docs say that the running back has agreed to enter a no-contest plea deal to a lesser charge of misdemeanor breach of peace.

This will require 30 hours of community service, a $500 fine, along with paying the victim, Darnell Greene, $105,196.17.

Prosecutors reportedly agreed to the deal, and said they’d drop the charges of felony battery and misdemeanor conspiracy to commit battery.

Kamara also reportedly closed out his civil case with Greene on Wednesday, according to Greene’s attorney Tony Buzbee.

It ain’t great, but I guess it’s better than jail time…

Now, we’ll wait to see if the NFL will take any disciplinary action.

Initially, he pled not guilty, along with three others, and vowed to fight all charged.
