I’ll admit, the new movie selection over the past few years hasn’t been great.
Besides Top Gun: Maverick, there really hasn’t been many movies I’ve been looking forward to…
Except for Killers of the Flower Moon.
I mean c’mon, it’s a Martin Scorsese movie, and everything that man touches seemingly turns to gold.
On top of that, the cast is absolutely LOADED, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons, and many more.
Not to mention, we have some country stars who will be taking part in the movie as well, such as Sturgill Simpson, Randy Houser and Jason Isbell.
And of course, the storyline is bada** in itself, as it’s based off of David Grann’s best-selling book. AppleTV+ synopsis of the show reads:
“Based on David Grann’s broadly lauded best-selling book, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror.”
Needless to say, this movie has some serious potential. An incredible storyline, a star-studded cast, and one of the greatest filmmakers in the game.
If this movie flops I will be absolutely devastated, but Killers of the Flower moon has some greatness written all over it.
With that being said, they’ve also officially dropped a new trailer for the movie, and the hype is through the roof.
