Never know what to expect from a live show…
From the sound room to the front of the stage, it seems like something’s bound to go wrong no matter how much work goes into planning each and every second of every aspect of the show.
But there’s really no way to plan for this…
Luckily it wasn’t a technical flaw that disrupted this Taylor Swift show…it was just the wildlife.
Last night, Swift was playing a show at Chicago’s Soldier Field as part of her Eras Tour. Everything appeared to be running smooth, until the unexpected happened during her Evermore set…
And by unexpected, I mean she swallowed a bug.
I think we can all agree that swallowing a bug only tends to happen at the worst moment possible. Whenever you’re giving a presentation, going on a date, while hanging out with friends, or while trying to spit game at the bar.
And in Swift’s situation, it happened to be while she was trying to play a show.
I will say, she played it off incredibly well.
At first, you can see her trying the old fashioned method of coughing it out, and she ultimately turns to the crowd and says:
“I swallowed a bug, I’m so sorry… I’ll be fine… It’s just so stupid. Oh, delicious. Is there any chance that none of you saw that?”
I just hope the Swifties in the crowd weren’t peeing in their adult diapers after this one:
