‘Yellowstone’ Star Admits She Doesn’t Have A Clue About The Future Of The Show

Yellowstone Costner

I don’t know what to think about the Yellowstone situation right now.

First off, we hear that Kevin Costner could be exiting the show due to scheduling conflicts for the second half of Season 5.

And then there were rumors that there could be a Matthew McConaughey spinoff series that features much of the original cast, which we recently confirmed is in the works regardless of Costner’s future with Yellowstone.

It was also odd that a number of Yellowstone stars who were promised to be at PaleyFest this past weekend were scratched off the list last minute, like Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Luke Grimes.

However, Yellowstone exec Keith Cox said at PaleyFest that filming for the second half of season five will begin “soon,” and they’re “very confident” that Costner will be returning.

There is so much fog around the future, that it’s hard to know what’s fact and what’s fiction.

With that being said, Wendy Moniz, who plays former Montana governor and John Dutton’s side-piece Lynelle Perry on the show, admitted at PaleyFest that she actually has no clue what’s going on, according to FOX News:

“I don’t know. I have no news to report about it. We’re all just, you know, finding out what everyone else is finding out as it’s going.

I’m along for this ride for as long as it goes. That’s what I can tell you. It’s just been a dream job.”

She also said that her relationship with Costner on set is “really professional” and “a pleasure.”

So, on the same day Yellowstone exec Keith Cox says the future of the show is a go, a star who plays a big role in season five allegedly has no clue what’s going on.

I couldn’t be more confused.

All we know is that Season 5 sure as hell won’t resume this summer.

Until then…
