This Is Not A Drill… Cody Johnson Is Back In The Studio

Cody Johnson country music

WHAT a day for new album announcements.

Cody Johnson is added to the list now for albums we can expect in hopefully 2023.

Johnson took to Instagram to alert his fans of the news.

“COJO Nation! I know y’all know what this means. Studio time.”

Outside of the excitement of the promise of COJO music on the horizon, I loved seeing Trent Willmon tagged in this post.

Cody’s longtime producer and collaborator, he is one of my favorite artists and puts out some REAL country music like Johnson.

Johnson released a killer live album towards the end of 2022 that was filled with all of the classics, and you could feel the energy from the crowd and that he was giving on stage through the speakers. It was phenomenal.

But, put his previously recorded songs aside. We all know this man has a way with words in his lyrics, and I’m sure this album will be filled with love, heartbreak, and everything in between.

Please let there be a single from this project come our way soon.

Cody Johnson, Zach Bryan And More To Play 2023 Auburn Rodeo

Talk about some kickass lineups…

Auburn Rodeo just announced their spring and fall performers for 2023, and it’s a STACKED bill.

They revealed Zach Bryan (fall) and Cody Johnson (spring) as their main headliners, along with performances by Whiskey Myers, Shane Smith & The Saints, Hailey Whitters, Yellowstone star Luke Grimes, Ian Munsick and JR Carroll.

If you’re anywhere near Alabama, I’d highly suggest trying to make it out for both rodeo dates if you can… it really doesn’t get much better than this:

“Turn it up! The Spring + Fall lineup is here! Catch Cody Johnson, Whiskey Myers, Shane Smith and Hailey Whitters LIVE on stage in Auburn this April!

AND Zach Bryan, Ian Munsick, Luke Grimes, JR Carroll this fall. 2023 Auburn Rodeo Season Passes and spring single tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow.

Save $10 when you buy the Season Pass—link in bio.”

Both events will take place in Opelika, Alabama, with the spring edition being held on April 29th and the fall rodeo being held on October 7th.
