Not good… not good at all.

A warrant has been issued for Cincinnati Bengals star running back, Joe Mixon, on charges of aggravated menacing.

According to court documents, on January 21st, Mixon pointed a gun at a woman and said:

“You should be popped in the face, I should shoot you, the police can’t get me.”

Turns out, the cops can most certainly get you…

The Bengals issues the following statement on the issue.

“The club is aware misdemeanor charges have been raised against Joe Mixon. The club is investigating the situation and will not comment further at this time.”

The Bengals are coming off yet another stellar season, losing in heartbreaking fashion to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game after losing to the LA Rams in last year’s Super Bowl.

No further updates are available at the time, but we’ll keep you updated when more comes in.

UPDATE:

According to Mixon’s agent, the charges will be dropped:

Back in 2014, he Mixon entered an Alford plea (pleading “guilty” while still maintaining your innocence) to a misdemeanor assault charge for punching a woman in the face.

She broke bones in her face, requiring a hospitalization and surgery.
