It’s no secret that Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic deserves some kind of reward for his mind boggling triple double against the New York Knicks on Tuesday night, going 60-21-10 to comeback from a nine point deficit with less than 35 seconds left in the game.
He even admitted himself:
“I’m tired as hell… I need a recovery beer.”
And little did Luka know that he just proposed a business idea when he made that statement.
According to FOX 4 Dallas, a Slovenian brewery announced that they were coming out with a “Recovery Beer” edition beer, inspired by Luka’s insane performance the other night, and of course, his epic statement after the game.
The company is Lasko Brewery, which is the largest brewery in Slovenia, the country in which Doncic is from.
I mean c’mon, this is genius stuff. Everybody loves a good ol’ fashioned recovery beer after a long hard week at work, or you know, dropping 60-21-10 to lead your team to an almost impossible comeback. Seriously, NBA teams have been a combined 0-13 in the past 20 years while trailing by at least nine points with 35 seconds or less to go in the game up until last night.
It was bound to happen sooner or later.
Might have to book a trip to Slovenia, just so I could get a taste of this Luka Doncic inspired “Recovery Beer.”
