Morgan Wallen Becomes First Artist To Ever Have Three Songs Simultaneously Occupy Entire Top 3 On Hot Country Songs Chart

John Shearer

Another record for Morgan Wallen.

Though the Dangerous era is officially over, and he’s teased a lot of new music coming soon, that doesn’t mean he’s not still topping the country charts.

“You Proof,” “One Thing At a Time,” & “Wasted On You” have claimed the top three spots on the Billboard Hot Country songs chart, making Morgan the first artists to ever have three songs in all three top spots on the Hot Country Songs chart.

They’re from three separate projects, with “You Proof” being his most recent #1 single, “One Thing At a Time” was just released less than two weeks ago as part of his One Thing At A Time – Sampler, and “Wasted On You” was the final single from Dangerous, and also a #1 hit at country radio:

“You Proof” also just reclaimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart this week, which makes this the 7th week it has spent at the top of the charts.

It’s also the most weeks a single has spent at #1 on this chart since Luke Combs’ “Beautiful Crazy” in 2019:

And according to radio chart insider Chris Owen, it’s likely the first country song in the charts history to ever fall out and reclaim the top spot two separate times on one chart run, which is pretty mind-boggling in and of itself:

And Morgan’s current single, “Thought You Should Know,” is currently flying up the charts too, sitting just outside the top 10 this week.

Don’t be surprised to see this one hit #1 faster than even “You Proof” just did, which is currently his fastest-rising hit at radio:

Morgan is gearing up for a massive 2023 stadium world tour, and with a new project on the horizon, he’s probably going to only multiply this momentum next year.
