Eric Church is taking things to the next level.

He just announced a new, all-inclusive enterprise with longtime manager John Peets called Solid Entertainment.

If I had to guess, it seems highly likely that the name was inspired by Eric’s song “Solid,” which he co-wrote with Anders Osborne and was included on his 2018 Desperate Man album.

The company will centralize all of his current endeavors, including Eric’s new SiriusXM Channel Outsiders Radio, his Lower Broadway venue, bar and restaurant Chief’s, along with his own in-house merchandise operation and fan club the Church Choir.

Eric says he’s excited to be embarking on this new endeavor with John, who Eric has been working with since 2004, adding that he’s looking forward to growing his business even more with his talented team of employees:

“I’m incredibly proud of the path we’ve taken to get to this point in all our careers and to have experienced so much of it together.

As our business continues to expand in different areas, it was important to me to establish a team of people that is focused on this growth. None of us got into music for the business of it, yet it’s part of how we are our most creative selves: through finding those other avenues for connection.

It’s humbling to be in a position where such incredibly talented people want to focus on the future together.”

John added that he’s excited to be part of the continuing of the expansion of the massive Eric Church brand and empire:

“I am very proud to take our professional relationship to the next level.

We have been working creatively together since 2004, and Solid Entertainment represents a fresh look and a continued commitment to all that we have built.

I look forward to adding to this foundation with an eye towards all that is to come with the ongoing expansion of Eric’s empire.”

Chief’s is slated to open on lower Broadway in downtown Nashville sometime in 2023, with Outsiders Radio already rolling over on SiriusXM.

Eric recently detailed some of what’s to come on the new radio channel, giving fans an idea of what they can expect to hear, in addition to some of his favorite music:

And here’s a little peak at the new bar, which Eric previously noted would feature a two-story seated music venue that would be able to host ticketed live events:
