2022 got off to a hot start, and it has refused to cool down.
And I’m not talking about the weather, of course, even though this summer has been a scorcher. In terms of new music, 2022 has been a spectacular year. There is already a long list of spectacular albums that have come out so far, and plenty more on the way.
In just the last couple of months, we’ve had huge new projects from some of the biggest names in country music like Whiskey Myers, Zach Bryan, Aaron Watson, and Luke Combs to name a few.
Moreover, American Aquarium, 49 Winchester, and Arlo McKinley have continued to prove their songwriting prowess with some of the best albums of the year.
With big time singles from Emily Scott Robinson, Kat Hasty, Charley Crockett, and many, many more, the last few months have been full of must-listen music.
If you’re like me, you spend all week looking forward to New Music Friday and immediately jump on the opportunity to hear the latest and greatest music. Even then, sometimes great releases can slip through the tracks.
If you take a more passive approach to finding new music, chances are you’ve missed quite a bit.
