Noah Gragson Initially Turns Down A Beer From Dale Earnhardt Jr. After Winning At Pocono: “I Don’t Like Beer”

Dale Earnhart Jr. Noah Gragson

Noah Gragson has been making a lot of noise here recently, both on and off the racetrack.

The 24-year-old has had quite the impressive Xfinity Series career thus far, racking up seven wins, 48 top five finishes, and 79 top 10s.

Needless to say, he’s well on his way to a bright career in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Of course, he’s been in the headlines for other reasons besides his impressive short career, as he was under fire after he intentionally wrecked fellow driver Sage Karam at Road America, which led to Dale Earnhardt Jr., the co-owner of JR Motorsports, saying that he could not defend a move like that.

He also exchanged a few punches with Daniel Hemric at Atlanta Motor Speedway as well, and needless to say, Gragson has become a “love him or hate him” kinda guy.

With that being said, it also appears that the young driver is not a big beer guy either…

Despite being known to shotgun a Busch Apple or two, Noah Gragson was recently filmed with Dale Jr. after his Xfinity Series win at Pocono Raceway this past weekend, and Dale handed him an ice cold Busch Light.

However, apparently Gragson turned it down initially.

You can hear the camera guy say:

“Did your ass say no to drinking a beer with Dale? C’mon.”

And Gragson responded:

“Yeah I don’t like beer. Dale’s making me drink a beer.”

Nothing like good ol’ fashioned peer pressure from the boss man.

NO, Noah. I feel like this is an unwritten rule in racing… when an absolute legend like Dale Jr., who also just so happens to be his team’s co-owner, asks you to have a beer, you must say yes.

And with that mullet? I’d peg Noah for the kind of dude you want to help you bring home the gold in a case race.

After taking the checkered flag, Gragson also got out of the car and puked, before shotgunning a Busch Light Apple. So maybe one beer was enough for him? Or does he not consider Busch Light Apple a beer?

Inquiring minds need to know.

Noah Gragson Shotguns A Beer From Fan

Noah Gragson took the checked flag last year at the Dead on Tools 250 at Martinsville Speedway, securing his position in the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship race.

He was joined by Austin Cindric, Daniel Hemric, and AJ Allmendinger, who all advanced on points. (Hemric would  go on to be the 2021 Xfinity Series champ).

But while the finish of the race was fantastic, the finishing move afterwards was even better.

Noah’s and the crew scaled the fence in a salute to the fans, but when Noah got back down, a fan handed him a Busch Light Apple through the fence.

Noah obliged… shotgunning the beer for the rowdy fans.

So while he may night like a cold beer, he’ll apparently shotgun a Busch Light Apple…
