Whiskey Myers Announce Firewater Music Festival Pre-Party Lineup

Whiskey Myers is fixin’ to make La Cygne, Kansas the southern rock capital of the world for a few days this fall.

As they gear up for their second annual Firewater Music Festival just outside of Kansas City, they previously announced the full festival lineup, which includes Blackberry Smoke, Old 97’s, Read Southall Band, Nikki Lane, Quaker City Night Hawks, 49 Winchester, Goodbye June, Ausitn Meade, them Dirty Roses and The Weathered Souls.

Set to run September 29th through October 1st, the band just announced the stacked lineup of pre-party performers that will take place on Thursday night for early entry passholders, including Steven Bankey & The Flatlanders, Eli Howard & The Greater Good, Matt Poss Band and Clay Clear Band.

They also noted in the caption of the post on Instagram that The Georgia Thunderbolts will bo longer be performing this year due to unforeseen circumstances:

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, The Georgia Thunderbolts will no longer be performing.”

Whiskey Myers will perform twice throughout the weekend, and it’s safe to say with such a stacked lineup of incredible artists that this is already a can’t-miss festival in just their second year hosting it:

The band is also gearing to drop their 6th studio album Tornillo next Friday, July 29th, and have put out four kickass singles in the lead up to release day, including “John Wayne,” “Antioch,” and “Whole World Gone Crazy,” and “The Wolf.”
