Luke Combs Looks To The Next Chapter With New Album, ‘Growin’ Up’

Luke Combs country music

It’s been 80 long years…

Okay not really, but it feels like we’ve been waiting a hot minute for this Luke Combs album to drop, and finally, today is the day that the man has shared Growin’ Up to the world.

The star country singer had already released a few singles leading up to the album’s release, like “Doin’ This,” “The Kind of Love We Make,” and “Tomorrow Me,” along with a live performance video of “Middle Of Somewhere,” teasing what was to come for the full album.

Combs also admitted that as he’s married and is officially a dad now, he’s starting to move on from the beer drinkin’ songs.

He told the New York Times:

“I’m in this transitional phase where there are days that I’m like, ‘I could crush 100 beers tonight at a bar and play for five hours.’

Other nights, I don’t want to get off the  couch. I want to hang with my wife and get ready to have this kid.”

And sure enough, this past Tuesday Combs and his wife Nicole welcomed a baby boy, who they named Tex Lawrence Combs.

Needless to say, the man is taking time to reflect on the special moments in life, as he continues to grow as a man, and that mindset is truly reflected on Growin’ Up.

Although we’ve seen a bunch of flashes on his past albums, it appears that Combs is fully focused on the next phase of his life.

It’s been one helluva ride watching Combs’ growth from he debut studio album This One’s for You, to today’s Growin’ Up, and he continues to prove that there’s still no ceiling for himself.

Here’s a few of my favorites:

“Outrunnin’ Your Memory” Feat. Miranda Lambert

“Going, Going, Gone”
