Koe Wetzel, that man is one wild MF’er.
Just about every Texas country artist has come on the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast and talked about how the must fucked up they’ve ever been in their lives, came from partying one night with the Texas country rocker…
And the wild part is, the guy lives the full-throttle lifestyle just about every night he’s on the road, and can still put on a damn good show along with some kickass music (not to mention he’s one of the nicest dudes you’ll ever meet).
Koe revealed that his one and only “Chug Bud” thinger-ma-bob is back in stock, which is a bong shaped mechanism that will help you chug any alcoholic beverage of your choice.
Of course, the best way to market an item is for the creator to use it himself.
With that being said, he posted a video to Instagram of himself using his product on style, as he chugged a 14% ABV Joose (a 24 oz. flavored malt liquor beverage) to his latest single, “April Showers.”
Not gonna lie, I had to turn away for a second while watching this, because I still have that God awful taste in my mouth from the last time I chugged one of them sons a bitches… I mean, it’s a blackout in a can.
Nevertheless, some people are just built different, and Koe proved once again that he’s truly a different breed.
Koe Wetzel Drops New Single “April Showers”
Man, this April weather…
Koe Wetzel is gearing up for a brand new album, and we’re officially getting our first taste of the new project with the lead single, “April Showers.”
Written by Koe alongside Ben Burgess, Jaren Johnston, “April Showers” is the quintessential “goodbye anthem” that slots perfectly into the Koe Wetzel wheelhouse.
He’s been teasing this one for a few weeks now, playing it at the shows on his headlining tour and even posting a few TikToks with shorter clips of the studio version over the past few weekends.
Directed by John Park, the music video gives us a glimpse at Koe’s last day on Earth as a meteor is about to strike… ending it all.
We know Koe has been in the studio at the Sonic Ranch down in Tornillo, Texas working on a new record. He already confirmed not long ago that it was almost done, and he would be dropping a new album sometime this year.
“We’re throwing out all the stops on this record. It’s more alternative, southern rock, heavier rock than what we’re used to. But I wanted this record to be that before I started making my country music.
This record does have some country sounding songs, but overall it’s more of an alternative record.
I just wanted to go in and kinda give everybody somethin’ to chew on before they got the full country record.”
We also know that it will likely include some sort of collaboration with Diplo, so hold on to your asses people… the beginning of KW5 is HERE.
Koe will also join Snoop Dogg for two shows on 4/19 and 4/20 amidst his headline tour that runs through the summer.
Koe Wetzel Announces 2022 North American Tour
Koe recently launched his North American headlining tour this spring.
Kicking off on March 3rd in Independence, Missouri, the 32-show run will go through July 23 with stops in New York, Tulsa, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, and more.
