Luke Bryan was forced to make the difficult decision to call off the first stop along his 2026 Fall Farm Tour.
Earlier this year, the country music singer and American Idol judge embarked on his 17th Farm Tour. Bryan started the annual event in 2009, and through it, he’s helped provide 90 college scholarships to children of farming families and over 10 million meals to those in need.
His spring dates went off without a hitch, but the same can’t be said about the fall leg. Bryan was set to play at 1846 Farms in Unity Township in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, but Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. Hours before the show was set to begin, it was determined that the field conditions were too wet and muddy to bring everyone in and out of the farm.
The intense and localized rainfall the location received was too much to overcome, and they had no other choice but to call off the show:
“Hey y’all. Unfortunately tonight’s Farm Tour show in Latrobe, Pennsylvania will not take place due to the conditions of the field. I am so sorry. This call was made for everyone’s safety.
Please hang on to your tickets and parking passes. We are working on the next steps and will update ya’ll as soon as a decision is made. God bless and stay safe y’all.”
Definitely a bummer for all those who worked hard to put the event on, and the fans who had prepared to make their way to the 1846 Farms tonight for the concert.
The venue itself – which again, for the Farm Tour, is a farm that temporarily transforms into a music venue – was just as saddened by the cancelation. They put out a statement of their own a couple of hours prior to Luke Bryan, saying the final call was out of their control, and hoping that fans can come back to 1846 Farms one day:
“We are incredibly saddened for our community, our guests, and everyone who worked so hard to prepare for this day. But today is also a reminder of something farmers know too well – you can prepare, plan, and work tirelessly, but ultimately, you cannot control the weather.
Our area has experienced an exceptionally wet summer, with record amounts of rainfall creating challenges that are simply beyond anyone’s control… there will be sunny days ahead. From all of us at 1846 Farms, thank you for the tremendous support you’ve shown our farm and our community.”
Though the country music star had to cancel the Pennsylvania tour stop, Bryan does have some additional dates for the fall leg of his Farm Tour in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. Hopefully the weather cooperates for those locations… scheduling them all back-to-back-t0-back makes sense for the travel schedule, but can lead to a tricky situation if inclement weather rears its ugly head.
