Whiskey Riff Madness 2022 Update: Final Four Voting EXTENDED

Eric Church march madness

Final Four voting is underway in the  2022 edition of Whiskey Riff Madness – and y’all are showing up BIG TIME.

You’re showing up so much, in fact, that we’re going to extend the voting another day.

We’ve already had more votes in this round than the last two rounds COMBINED – and since the votes haven’t slowed down, we’re going to give you through tomorrow to finish voting to see who goes to the championship round.

If you need a quick recap, we’re currently down to the top four albums after starting with 64 of the best albums from 2010 to today.

Right now we have Eric Church’s Chief going up against Firewater from Whiskey Myers, and Zach Bryan’s DeAnn facing off with Purgatory from Tyler Childers.

And just to pull back the curtain: Ever since Eric Church announced that he was canceling his show in San Antonio to attend the Final Four matchup between his beloved UNC Tar Heels and the Duke Blue Devils, we’ve seen a MASSIVE swing in favor of Whiskey Myers in that matchup.

Church REALLY pissed people off, and it’s even showing up in your voting – so if Chief wants to make a comeback, Eric Church fans are going to need to start voting hard and voting often over the next 24 hours.

On the other hand, the matchup between Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan is as tight as we’ve had throughout the whole tournament. This one’s gone back and forth quite a bit, and we’ve heard from quite a few of you who have said you’re having trouble with this matchup in particular.

Well now you have a little more time to make up your minds.

So get those votes in – and remember, you can vote as many times as you want. Voting will now close Friday, April 1 at 11:59 PM central time.

It’s your last chance to send your favorite through to the championship round. So come back on Saturday to see who it’s going to be, and to cast your vote for the champion.
