Tyler Childers Covers Pink Floyd’s “Time” Like You’ve Never Heard It Before

We’re taking it back to 2016 people…

Back in 2016, back before Tyler Childers even released his stellar album Purgatory, he performed a gig at Nashville’s The Basement East.

And amid the usual Tyler Childers hits, he treated the crowd to this stunning cover of Pink Floyd’s “Time,” a cover that glides seamlessly into his own song, “Harlan Road.”

The fourth track from Pink Floyd’s 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon (largely regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time), it was released as a single in February of 1974.

Based on the comments alone, even years and years later, it seems like fans still can get enough of this one.

As one YouTuber commented, “who covers Pink Floyd like this? Guy is unreal.”

I couldn’t have said it better myself…
