I have two whole reasons to watch the ACM Awards next week…
Dolly Parton and Yellowstone star Luke Grimes (AKA Kayce Dutton).
Luke will present with his on-screen wife, Kelsey Asbille (Monica Dutton), and though it will probably add up to less than 30 seconds of TV time, I’ll take it:
Of course, the irony is that Yellowstone would never feature 90% of the artists nominated at the ACM Awards this year, but hey, that’s why it’s the best soundtrack on television.
It’s also very on brand for the ACMs to invite the actors from the show but not artists on the soundtrack that make actual country music. I digress…
In addition to Luke and Kelsey, they just announced the rest of the presenters, including Mickey Guyton, Alan Ritchson, Derek Carr, Guy Torry, Jason Aldean, Tom Pelphrey and James Patterson (who’s gearing up to released a book with ACM’s host Dolly Parton).
The show is this coming Monday, March 7th, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime.
