With several winter storms making their way through the northeast, it’s making it incredibly difficult for travel.
With that being said, Morgan Wallen will be cancelling a number of shows this upcoming weekend due to the inclement weather.
His shows in Evansville, Indiana, Charleston, West Virginia, and Allentown, Pennsylvania, have been pushed back to later dates.
He made the announcement via Twitter
“Due to severe and inclement weather in Indiana, Kentucky, and throughout the Northeast, I unfortunately have to cancel the shows this weekend… Here are the new dates:
Evansville, IN- Thurs, April 14
Charleston, WV- Fri., April 15
Allentown, PA- Fri., May 27
Hold on to your tickets! They will be valid for the new dates. If you can’t make the new dates or prefer a refund you can reach out to your point of purchase directly.
Y’all stay safe and we’ll see you soon.”
Unfortunately for some however, they already made their to Evansville for tonight’s show, with some even battling through the elements to get there.
Others expressed how they booked hotels in advance, are already on their way, or arrived early to beat the snow storms.
Needless to say, they’re pissed:
Welpppppp, glad that hotel room was non refundable….. romantic weekend in Allentown….. doing ….. Allentown things I guess……

Really unfortunate I already payed for a two day hotel stay and got here early just for you to cancel 2 hours and 30 mins before the doors open. If there was a possibility of canceling it should have been done earlier🤦🏼♀️

Traveled to Evansville from St. Louis on Tuesday night to beat the weather and spent 2 extra days in a hotel for this concert because the venue said it would definitely not be canceled, WTF!!!

Nothing like traveling all the way to see @MorganWallen you cancel only a couple hours before doors open you’re already here and everyone coming to see you is already here and paid for multiple nights in a hotel this should have happened sooner you knew this weather was coming

Sucks for these fans who already traveled to get here. Prob should have called this one sooner. I know it’s hard call to make tho. Everyone stay safe.
