The Internet Is In Love With This 7-Foot Tall, 360-Pound College Basketball Player From St. John Fisher

A group of people playing basketball

College football season is winding down, with only the bowl season left to go, so the sports world is turning its attention to college basketball.

And I think college basketball fans have found our new king.

His name is Connor Williams, and he’s a freshman center for St. John Fisher, a private Division III school out of Rochester, New York.

An unlikely hero? Perhaps. But this guy is a HOSS.

Williams stands at 7 foot tall, which is tall but not terribly unusual in college basketball. But he’s also a solid 360-lbs, and he immediately won over the internet during the Cardinals’ game against Buffalo this weekend.

Sure, St. John Fisher lost by 42 points in the 100-58 blowout. But that wasn’t the real story.

No, the real story was everybody finally learning about Connor Williams, thanks to incredible moments like this one:

Our man got knocked down, rolled, got right back up and then nonchalantly threw the pass inside for the bucket.

KING SHIT.

Twitter starting going wild, and people can’t get enough of Williams.

I absolutely love everything about this.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to go order a St. John Fisher jersey (Connor Williams, obviously) and learn everything about my new favorite team.
