Parker McCollum Plays “Carrying Your Love With Me” For Randy Travis, Sippin’ On Some Of His New Wine

Parker McCollum playing a little George Strait for Randy Travis?

No, it’s not a dream…

This is real life.

Parker posted a video on Instagram of him at Randy’s house playing an acoustic version of George’s iconic number one hit “Carrying Your Love With Me,” and it looks like they’re both having a little bit of Parker’s new wine, which Randy also posted about in his Instagram stories.

And while Randy can’t quite sing and perform like he used to, he’s been pretty active on social media and around Nashville championing other young artists, while even getting back on stage himself, here and there.

With Parker gearing up to release his first album on his new record label, Gold Chain Cowboy, on Friday, I’m sure it just makes this moment all the more special for him.

I mean, imagine playing for Randy Travis at his own damn kitchen table? He’s one of the best to ever do it, and the fact that Parker played the King for him is just the cherry on top.

And much as this was probably a special moment for Parker, I think it’s safe to say that Randy enjoyed himself just as much.
