Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Buffett And Mac McAnally Sing “Back Where I Come From” At Nashville’s Exit/In

That’s a lot of talent on one stage.

Jimmy Buffett performed a private show at Nashville‘s Exit/In last night, 50 years after Buffett became the first artist to ever play the now-historic venue.

And of course if Jimmy Buffett’s in Nashville you know Kenny Chesney‘s going to be there too, hopping up on stage to join Jimmy for his classic hit “Margaritaville.”

Kenny also performed “Back Where I Come From,” the hit song from his 1996 album Me and You.

And for this one he was joined by not only Jimmy, but also by a special member of Jimmy’s Coral Reefer Band: Mac McAnally, the legendary songwriter who wrote and first released “Back Where I Come From” back in 1990.

I know I keep saying it, but damn it’s good to have live music back.

I’ve missed moments like this.
