Just a couple of old friends singing some great country songs… if that isn’t what country music is all about then I don’t know what is.
Vince Gill and Reba McEntire stepped into the Opry Circle last night, trading stories, songs and even performing a few songs together. These two have known each other for quite a while now, and naturally, have nothing but praise and admiration for each other’s music.
Vince: “She is arguably one of the greatest singers that will ever draw a breath.”
Reba: “I’m very proud to be an Opry member and I’ll always be proud to stand on the stage with Vince.”
The show was also prefaced with a touching tribute to the late great Charlie Daniels.
The pair also played the Opry together way back in 1996.
