The wait is over, Kip Moore’s long-awaited studio album Wild World is here, and after listening to it nonstop for the past 48 hours, I can tell you that it’s everything we have come to expect and more.
And right out of the gate, “Fire And Flame” appears to be an immediate fan favorite.
Kip also released an intimate acoustic performance of the tune for his In The Wild Sessions with vocalist India Carney, and the stripped-down, raw nature of the this arrangement breathes a whole new life into the song.
“The ‘In The Wild Sessions’ began as a way to tell the story of these songs in a bare bones kind of way… I love to travel, and so PJ and I scouted a spot in the desert in California and hand-picked some independent artists to do the sessions with, as a way of also highlighting their amazing talents too.”
If you haven’t got your hands on the new record yet, I would highly suggest you stop whatever you’re doing and get on that. It’s a game changer.
