I, A Grown-A** Man, Want George Strait To Read Me More Stories

When the King isn’t slinging some of the world’s best tequila and some of the world’s best country tunes, he’s doing his part to help out families in the great state of Texas.

In partnership with Governor Greg Abbott, George Strait joined their Stars of Texas Storytime initiative to read a story to the kids… and let’s be honest, all of us adults as well.

He went with Never Ask A Dinosaur To Dinner (classic) by Gareth Edwards.

According to KRIS, other guests have included, Kendra Scott, Charlotte Jones Anderson, Colt McCoy, as well as Audrey Abbott and the First Lady.

Great stuff King, just great stuff. I know this is for kids, but I, as a grown-ass man, would love for George to read me a story.

In these miserable, uncertain, chaotic times… there’s just something about George reading you a kid’s book that sounds like “hey, everythign is gonna be alright.”
