The craziness is hitting new heights.

We’re at the point in this pandemic where some stories are becoming so nuts, they almost seem like satire. Case in point, this Texas woman who just died from Coronavirus after a viral, lengthy, rant on Facebook where she said you “don’t need hand sanitizer…you need faith and guns.”

Here was the rant.

Then, just three days ago, Karen’s family started a GoFundMe page:

With deep sadness and Broken Hearts we share with you that Karen Kolb Sehlke, a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all that knew her, went to be with our Lord when she passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 2,2020. Karen became very sick and was admitted to the hospital near her home in Tomball Tx earlier this week. She fought hard until her body just could not fight anymore. Karen was a BRIGHT LIGHT, the LIFE of the party, an amazing friend, but above this a hands on, caring, loving mom and devoted wife. Her huge heart and caring soul touched so many lives both far and wide. If you met her you were a friend, and most she even considered extended family. Please join us as we help support the love of her life and best friend, her husband Mike and their two boys Karen’s pride and joy, Austin and Blake as they grieve this tremendous loss. This account has been set up on behalf of the family to help with the medical and funeral expenses the family will endure and all funds will go directly to Mike and the boys. Any amount is a blessing and appreciated. Please keep this sweet family in your thoughts and prayers.

The family raised $35,090 before donations were disabled…

Here’s where it gets even crazier. It appears the family removed the cause of death from the obituary/GoFundMe. Initially, the GoFundMe stated she did test positive for COVID-19, and went into septic shock and had kidney failure (you can see that in the tweet below – multiple outlets have begun reporting on this).

That has since been changed to “unknown” and her Facebook post has apparently been deleted.

Yikes. Stay tuned for more info. I don’t think this will be the last story like this we see, unfortunately.
