It takes a lot to get banned from Walmart.
I mean, we’ve all seen the kind of people who hang out there. Most of the clothes that people wear to Walmart aren’t actually meant to be worn as clothes in public, and hygiene is clearly frowned upon if you’re going to patronize your local Walmart. Hell, there are entire websites dedicated to showcasing the fine people of Walmart. So I can’t imagine what it would take for Walmart to say “Nah, you’re not good enough to shop here.”
Well apparently, eating half of a cake from the bakery and then demanding that you only have to pay for the other half will do the trick. According to the Times Record News, a woman in Wichita Falls, TX has been banned from Walmart’s fine establishments for doing just that. Police say she went to the store’s bakery, ate half of a cake, and then refused to pay for the other half after claiming that she found the cake already half-eaten. Honestly, finding a half-eaten cake in a Walmart bakery wouldn’t even surprise me. I would just assume that’s the price you pay for shopping at Walmart – some of the cakes are probably already half-eaten. On the other hand, what kind of lunatic do you have to be to purchase a half-eaten cake, claiming you didn’t eat the other half?
The icing on the cake though (had to), is that this isn’t the first time that a Wichita Falls Walmart has banned a customer. Remember earlier this year when a woman was banned from Walmart for riding through the store drinking wine out of a Pringles can? Yup, that was in Wichita Falls.
I don’t know what the hell is going on down there in Wichita Falls, but when you’re getting banned from Walmart, it might be time to take a step back and reevaluate your own life choices.
