For Brett Eldredge, Father’s Day was more than just a day to celebrate his dad, it was also the day he notched his 7th career #1 single.
During Brett’s headlining performance at Tailgate N’ Tallboys Festival in Peoria, Illinois, last night, Brett gave his dad one helluva Father’s Day present when he invited him on stage to celebrate “Love Someone” topping the country charts.
“I got to celebrate having the number #1 song in country music on Father’s Day with my dad on stage,” Brett shared on Instagram.
He followed that up with a heartfelt thank you to both his dad and the fans.
“Dad, thank you for showing me that I am capable of alllll of this…I love you…and all of my fans and country radio, you are so pure and so damn good to me…you all just go on to prove the words we wrote, “it sure feels good to love some one”…and I love you.”
I just took my dad bowling…
