Whoa, anybody else feel like they just stepped into Wonderland?
Truth is, I’ve never dabbled in psychedelics, but I would like to. And, with the news that Denver voted to decriminalize the use of psychedelic mushrooms, it’s probably just a matter of time before I get my hands on some. Many creative types that I admire have openly talked about the mind-opening benefits, Sturgill Simpson and Joe Rogan to name a few.
And, when I do, I just might come back to Kacey Musgraves’ trippy as fuck new visual video for “Oh, What A World.” I love the title, “Visual Video,” like we all don’t know what you’re supposed to do with it.
Remember back to the release of Golden Hour, Kacey confessed that a lot of her creative energy was brought into the light during acid trips. LSD played an inspiring role in both “Slow Burn,” and “Mother.” A few Grammys later, it’s pretty hard to argue with those results.
