A really solid group.
The CMA Awards has just announced additional performers for the show that’s slated to take place next week, which already includes Lainey Wilson, Post Malone, Chris Stapleton and more.
Eric Church, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Kacey Musgraves, Meg Moroney, Cody Johnson Ella Langley Kelsea Ballerini, Noah Kahan, Jelly Roll and Bailey Zimmerman have all been added to perform too, which in my opinion, is probably the best group they’ve had in a long, long time:
“You thought we were done?? More performers will be hitting the CMA awards stage NEXT Wednesday at 8/7c on ABC!
Catch show-stopping performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks And Dunn, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Ella Langley, Noah Kahan, Meg Moroney, Kacey Musgraves, and Bailey Zimmerman!”
These shows really don’t mean anything anymore, but if you do plan on watching, at least there’s some really talented artists taking the stage to sing some great music this year.
In terms of artists up for big awards, Morgan Wallen leads the pack with seven nominations in total, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year award, and Chris Stapleton and Cody Johnson follow pretty close behind him with five each. Host Lainey Wilson comes in with four noms, tying with Post Malone who received his first-ever CMA nods.
The 58th Annual CMA Awards are slated for November 20th, airing live on ABC at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and will be hosted by Lainey along with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning.
