That didn’t take long, did it?
NFL fans (at least some of them) are already over the Taylor Swift – Travis Kelce romance, and we’re only one game into the 2024-25 season. Did you happen to see the “leaked media plan” that featured an alleged breakup schedule for Kelce and Swift? It’s clear that a lot of football fans would be A-OKAY with that playing out.
Before Taylor Swift was even cut to once during the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, NFL fans were already a little weary about the pop star infiltrating the football season once again. There was a decent amount of uproar when the league’s official teaser for the season, which was posted earlier in the week, featured Taylor Swift more than players like Lamar Jackson, who won the NFL MVP last year.
But that blowback didn’t stop Taylor Swift from coming to Arrowhead Stadium to support her other half:

I wonder how some of the NFL players feel with Taylor Swift getting more coverage pre-game, mid-game, and post-game than they do? I’m sure it doesn’t bother them at all.
But at the same time, can you really blame the National Football League for leaning into the stardom and draw that Taylor Swift has brought to football? At least to the Kansas City Chiefs? This is a dream come true for the league as they’ve tapped into a demographic that never once before cared about what happened out on the gridiron.
So with all the added attention, and the additional eyeballs that are on Chiefs games now, it doesn’t hurt for the media to show Taylor Swift cheering for her football-playing-boyfriend Travis Kelce from her suite, like this:
