It’s been a year since the Turnpike Troubadours announced they were getting back together, after their hiatus back in 2019.

Even a year later, it’s still hard for me to comprehend that one of the greatest country groups of all time is back on stage and playing their hits like the good ol’ days.

Not to mention, they’ve been in the studio working on a new album, so we all have to keep our eyes peeled for that one.

I had the opportunity to see Turnpike for the first time a few weeks back at the Greenville Country Music Fest in Greenville, South Carolina, and it was hands down one of the best live performances I’ve ever witnessed, and it’s an absolute must to cross off your bucket list.

Since the group announced their return, they’ve been playing various shows across the country, and as you can imagine, ticket demand has been through the roof.

Hell, they practically broke the internet when they announced their show at Billy Bob’s Texas earlier this year, making their website crash due to the insane amounts of traffic.

A couple weeks back, the group announced that they’d be playing a show at Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 24th, 2023, alongside The Avett Brothers and The Wood Brothers.

Now, they announced yet another show with the two groups, but this time they’re heading to the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on February 25th, 2023.

Needless to say, if you live remotely close to Dallas, you’re gonna wanna get your hands on these tickets.

Also, pretty badass that these fellas are playing arenas now, eh? Granted, we all love to see our favorite bands play dive bars for $10 bucks a ticket, but these boys have taken this thing to the next level… and it’s a beautiful thing.
