Turnpike Troubadours are hittin’ the road next year.

They just announced their first show of 2023, which will take place in North Little Rock, Arkansas, on February 24th at Simmons Bank Arena, featuring support from The Avett Brothers and The Wood Brothers:

“First big show announcement for 2023.

North Little Rock, Arkansas on February 24th at Simmons Bank Arena – joined by @theavettbrothers and @thewoodbros Tickets on sale this Friday November 18th at 10:00am CT @simmonsbankarena.”

They put on a helluva show, so if you’re anywhere near Arkansas or wanna make a weekend trip, that concert would certainly be worth it.

Actually, me and some of the Whiskey Riff team were lucky enough to see them a couple weekends ago at Greenville Country Music Fest, and I can promise that it’s definitely something you have to see for yourself in person.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 18th at 10AM CST:

After a relatively light show schedule for 2022, it remains to be seen if the Oklahoma boys will embark on a full-on tour next year, but it seems like this show is the first of many more to come.

They of course made their triumphant return back in April at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was a beautiful sight to see, indeed.

We already know they’re working on a new album, too, as frontman Evan Felker confirmed it and the boys debuted a new song called “Cat in the Rain” earlier this year.

Hopefully, there’s much more official news on all of that to come in the new year:
