Running it back?
Kenny Chesney has been teasing a new stadium tour, with several stadiums hinting at an announcement coming tomorrow.
Last week, venues began posting a cryptic invitation to the “Vibe Room,” which was a staple of Chesney’s residency at the Las Vegas Sphere.

So far, we’ve gotten teasers from US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, Soldier Field in Chicago, American Family Field in Milwaukee, Empower Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and Gillette Stadium in Massachussets.
Well this morning, Kenny dropped another teaser hinting at who he’ll be bringing along with him on the road – and it looks like he’s running back some of his old tours.
The teaser includes “EFC,” presumably hinting that Eric Church will once again be joining him on the road. Church joined Kenny on the road (no pun intended) back in 2013 on his No Shoes Nation Tour, and also joined him for some dates on his 2015 The Big Revival Tour. More recently, Church was the surprise guest during one of Kenny’s shows at the Sphere, joining him to perform “When I See This Bar” while also performing his own hits “Springsteen” and “Drink In My Hand.”

Along with Church, the teaser also gives us some hints as to who else will be joining Kenny on tour. There’s an S with a “Crow” emoji, which seems to indicate that Sheryl Crow will be there, as well as “OD,” seemingly referencing Old Dominion, who has joined Kenny on tour a few times over the years. And “G. James” is likely hinting at Greylan James, who’s written several songs for Kenny over the years before launching his own career as an artist.
Kenny was last on tour back in 2024 with his massive Sun Goes Down tour, which featured co-headliners Zac Brown Band as well as Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker. Since then, he’s been focused on his dates at the Sphere as well as his book, Heart Life Music, which released last year.
Church, meanwhile, wrapped up his Free the Machine Tour earlier this year, and last week dropped a new song “On the Road” reflecting on all that he’s done over the past 20 years of his career.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see whether this will be the only tour for Church in 2027, and whether it will be a co-headlining situation like Kenny had with Zac Brown Band on his last tour. But the good news is we won’t have to wait too long, because it seems like the announcement will be coming tomorrow.
