Tyler Hubbard Confirms Florida Georgia Line Is Working On Tour Dates For 2027: “Itching To Get Back On Stage”

Tyler Hubbard – one half of Florida Georgia Line – is once again letting everyone know that the country music duo is well on its way to an official reunion.

Whether we like it or not, we’re barreling towards a world where Florida Georgia Line is together again. Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, the artists who are considered “patient zero” of the “Bro Country” movement, broke up in 2022 because they wanted to pursue solo careers. Well… that, and they seemingly express polar opposite political views which caused some strife between the bandmates and their families. Brian Kelley confessed that a certain kind of flag (MAGA flag) on display in his very private yard “triggered” Tyler Hubbard.

Initially, country music purists breathed a sigh of relief. But in the years after, the FGL reunion rumors have only grown stronger and stronger. They officially reunited to honor Jason Aldean back in March for a record label event at CRS:

@1033country FGL has made their return after 4 years! #fgl #floridageorgialine #nashville #crs ♬ original sound – 103.3 Country

That was the first sign that Florida Georgia Line was exploring a comeback.

The big reveal happened at CMA Fest in Nashville, where Hubbard and Kelley came out on stage together at Nissan Stadium and the fans in attendance went crazy. Speaking to US99 – Chicago’s Country Station, Tyler Hubbard said that moment was very rewarding for him and Brian Kelley:

“It was cool. It was a great moment. It was kind of that moment where everyone around us and the fans and everyone online got to experience the power and the healing that BK and I have been getting to experience for the last year or so.”

As far as what their reunion looks like, Hubbard has previously shared that there’s no plans for new music from FGL (small victory for country purists). But in this latest interview, the country singer did confirm that Florida Georgia Line is actively working on getting tour dates put together for 2027:

“I would say we’ve got some things in the works for next year. We’re excited. Brian and I have been hanging out and having a good time. We’re kind of itching to get back on stage. So we’ll probably put some shows together next year. That’s about as much as we’ve planned at this point. We’re both excited. It’s gonna be a fun year next year.”

If we have to take anything away from this news, I suppose it’s good to see Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley put aside their differences and bury the hatchet.

Though I’ll speak for a good majority of country music fans and address Florida Georgia Line… guys, take all the time you need getting back together. Feel free to just, I don’t know, be friends again rather than a music duo? Isn’t friendship worth more than a musical partnership anyways? No need to push it with tour dates in 2027, if the timing doesn’t feel exactly right.
