Honestly, that’s pretty slick… I have to respect her game.
Megan Moroney knows how to get revenge on her ex’s, in a very legal way of course, and she stopped by The Drew Barrymore Show this week where she revealed one of the more creative ways she got inside his head a couple years ago.
Of course, she released her highly-anticipated third studio album Cloud 9, which is off to a hot start as it debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, which is her first #1 debut on that chart, last week. She also just headlined the Houston Rodeo and played to a massive crowd, of course coming in on her pink bronco:

And during her appearance on Drew’s show, Barrymore brought up the fact that both of them have “vandalism” stories of sorts, and Megan revealed that hers seemingly happened around the time her Am I Okay? album came out in 2024. It’s common around Nashville for artists to place stamps, or airbrush with paint, their album covers or titles around Music City when they have a big release coming out.
You’ll often see them scattered around different neighborhoods in Nashville, and Megan explained that she had the person who was doing it with that particular album (I’m pretty sure it was Am I Okay? because the timelines would make sense), to place them from the parking garage where her ex worked all the way up to where he walked in the front door. She says she even found the coordinates, and had them place the stamp “every foot” so he would “never” forget her:
“Yes, I did. Okay, so I was dating this guy who I wrote some songs about, and we had broken up by the time it came out. But I was like, ‘You’re never forgetting me.’
So he worked in downtown Nashville, and those little stamps that I put all over the concrete, I put them all over Nashville, but I specifically asked the person that was dong it, I gave him the coordinates to be like, ‘From the parking garage to where he walks in the front door to work every day, every foot.’
There were stamps on the ground he had to look at, and I think they’re still there, because it takes a while.”
I mean, check mate… because I imagine they might even still be there because it would take a while to fully fade, and while obviously petty, I can’t imagine the satisfaction of knowing the ex, and even more so his co-workers, had to look at that every single dat, especially if he’s the same ex who gave her the self-help book for Valentine’s Day… it sounds like he probably deserved it.
Drew went on to tell her story about vandalizing an ex’s care which was actually insane, but Megan really knows how to bring the sting and I’m sure that got inside his head for a good long while… don’t mess with Megan Moroney, guys:
