Brianna LaPaglia split with Zach Bryan in what ended up being a very public breakup in October of 2024 (yes, it’s been over a year now), and it made tons of headlines when Brianna aired it all out on her BFFs podcast with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.
Since then, the two of them have gone back and forth taking jabs at each other online, though Brianna has been much more pointed about what she’s said, while Zach’s have been much more subliminal. He’s since gotten married to his wife Samantha, who looks strikingly similar to Brianna, and on an episode of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast last week, their relationship was once again brought up, and Brianna opened up about turning down the over $12 million NDA, first telling Paul how much Bryan would dislike him:
“He’s always the ops. Oh my gosh, he would hate you. Yes. He hated anything to do with podcasting, he thinks it’s so embarrassing, like, the worst thing ever. He would always make fun of my career.”
She also spoke about Bryan’s new marriage, saying she believes he started dating Samantha to “spite her,” and she went on to describe him as a “psychopath and a narcissist, and very scary person”:
“Because he is a psychopath, and a narcissist, and very scary person and I know so much but I’m just so over… like, when I came forward with what I went through, it wasn’t like I knew I was never gonna ruin his career. I knew nothing was ever gonna change for him. It was for me, and for girls that experienced the same thing. I knew people weren’t gonna believe me. I knew he was gonna do everything that he could to like smear my campaign, or like f****** hurt my career, which he did.
And it just wasn’t for him. It was for me. Like, I knew he’d be fine. Like I said in the first podcast episode, we don’t punish bad men, we make them President. That is literally what goes on.”
They talked about the relationship for several minutes in total, and during that episode, she pointed out that she is never the one to bring it up and that other people want to talk about it, and if that’s the case, she’ll have to start putting her foot down, so to speak, because in a new episode of her Plan Bri Uncut podcast, Brianna got into that appearance on Paul’s podcast.
She explained that her team asked him to avoid asking questions about Bryan, because she believes it’s “old news,” though she gave them answers anyways. She points out that none of the information is new, but people still want to go there:
“I was like, ‘Alright, let’s get it all out of the way,’ which is fine. I know that people are going to ask about it, but at this point, I’ve said everything that I’m going to say. I’m not going to say anything new, and it’s not that interesting.
I don’t care to talk about it on other people’s podcasts, if I want to talk about it on here with you guys, if I wanna talk about the relationship aspect of it, I will. But then, I go on there, it was fine, I was like, alright, we talked about it for two minutes, get all your f****** questions about him out of the way.”
But what she really wasn’t happy about was how they titled the episode, which is now called “Brianna Chickenfry Exposes Clavicular’s Past, Dating Lana Rhoades, Tom Brady Vs Logan Paul,” but it’s possible it has been changed since she was upset by it because she mentioned several times that she wasn’t happy they mentioned that part of the conversation in the title.
There are several other clips floating around, like one titled “‘HE’S A PSYCHO'” – Brianna Chickenfry Talks About Her Ex-Boyfriend” that the Impaulsive channels have shared, so maybe that’s was she’s referencing, but Brianna insists that she doesn’t want to keep talking about her ex and has asked people not to bring it up during appearances:
“But then they titled the f****** podcast that. So that looks like I went on that podcast to talk about that, when that was the one thing that I was like, ‘Hey, let’s not f****** talk about this.’ Surely I knew they were going to, every single show where I go on with men, they ask about it.
So I was like, alright, I’ll talk about it for two seconds, whatever questions they have, I think we literally talked about it for maybe two minutes. And then they titled the whole f****** episode that. And then my publicist calls me this morning, and is like, ‘I am f****** seething.’
I’m like, I’m just so, I don’t really give a f*** about anything, but when I look at the grand scheme of things, I’m like, we did ask to not talk about it and then they titled the whole episode that. And then everyone thinks that I’m going out to talk about it, and I don’t talk about it unless I’m asked about it, which shouldn’t even matter. I should be able to talk about it. It’s just so f****** frustrating.
Ultimately, she was unhappy that it looked like the only reason she went on the podcast was to talk about Zach:
“That looks like I went on that podcast to talk about that when that was the one thing that I was like, ‘Hey, let’s not f—ing talk about this.”
Her publicist wasn’t happy about it either, and Brianna says other people are “beating a dead horse,” at this point, because she’s not going to give any new information and she’s said what she wanted to say. She commented on how annoying it is when things get clipped to look like she was bringing it up, and she also says she “rage baited” people with some of the wild stuff she said just to get them riled up.
Brianna explained that she almost wanted to walk it all back because of how they named the episode, but overall, she called it a positive experience, and I feel like she’s going to have to draw a hard line in the sand in terms of talking about this stuff if she really wants it to stop, because I think people will probably continue to bring it up until the end of time if she keeps entertaining it, even if it’s not new information.
Gee ya think? I mean, it’s all she’s talked about for the past year and a half, but if you don’t want to talk about it… maybe don’t? If you don’t control your own narrative, people will do it for you, and right now, Brianna’s entire public image is being Zach Bryan’s ex. She really doesn’t have anyone to blame but herself for that. So if she wants that to stop, then she’s gotta… stop talking about it. Easy as that.
