That’s definitely…a theory.
Kid Rock, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, has never been afraid to speak his mind, and he’s never really cared who he offended. From the hosts of The View to Bruce Springsteen, Kid Rock has never shied away from throwing jabs at his critics. People either love him or hate him for his outspokenness, which may explain why this blunt clip from May 2025 is going viral yet again on social media.
The rocker has admitted that he’s “uncancellable” and doesn’t care what people think, and in the clip from last year, Rock has a decidedly-not politically correct explanation for the low birth rate in America.
The comments came during an appearance on Fox News with host Jesse Watters, when Kid Rock was asked whether he ever has anyone with blue hair and armpit hair come out to his shows:
“We have this low birth rate in America and it all made sense to me. It just hit me right now, because who’s going to sleep with these ugly-a**, broke, crazy, deranged, TDS liberal women? I mean, you look at these rallies, it’s like a bunch of women that no guy wants to sleep with and a bunch of dudes that want to sleep with each other.”
The videos have racked up millions of views this time around, with even some women jumping in to agree with him:

But back when he initially made the comments, naturally Kid Rock ruffled some feathers – including Dolly Parton’s sister, Stella Parton:

Apparently the feeling is mutual for those on the other side of the aisle. Outspoken liberal Maren Morris, who recently finalized her divorce with ex-husband Ryan Hurd, opened up on the dating scene last year during an interview with The Cut where she slammed what she calls the “new mutant strain of fake liberal men,” who she claims “pose as progressive dudes on dating apps.”
Of course, men voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump in the 2024 election. Trump won in the male demographic by 12 points, and even won the young male vote, which has typically skewed more liberal. He won males age 45-64 by a whopping 20%. And among males 65 and older, a demographic that Democrats hoped to win by warning senior citizens that Trump was a threat to Social Security, he still had a 13-point advantage in the final election results.
So it shouldn’t really be a surprise that most of the men that Maren’s running into on dating apps aren’t as woke as she wants them to be. Then again I’m not sure that there are many dudes who are woke enough for Maren.
It’s also interesting that these conservative dudes are, supposedly, posing as liberal on dating apps. Gotta think Kid Rock would have something to say about those guys too…
