Zach Bryan Announces Notre Dame Stadium Show With Comedian Shane Gillis & Dermot Kennedy: “One Of The Last Shows We Announce”

Zach Bryan

Another stadium show.

This morning, Zach Bryan announced a concert at Notre Dame Stadium on September 6th at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. Interestingly, it won’t just include your typical openers in another musician… Irish singer and songwriter Dermot Kennedy (Zach is a well-known big fan) will serve as an opener, alongside comedian Shane Gillis, who will seemingly be performing a set of his own for what will I’m sure be over 80,000 people, which is the stadiums capacity.

It’s a neat concept, and I think Zach and Shane’s fanbase in particular have a lot of crossover, so this will definitely be a memorable show and something we might even see more of in the future. They attended the Super Bowl together, and performed at a bar in New Orleans, so I imagine this will be a much more scaled up version of that.

He shared the news on Instagram, saying this will be one of the last shows he announces for the year as he wants to “take some time away” from the road:

“My good friends Shane, Dermot and me are coming to play for The Fighting Irish. Public on sale is Friday, March 7th at 10am eastern. This will be one of the last shows we announce.

Thank you guys for understanding the boys and me taking time away from the road. Couldn’t go without having some of the most talented people I know play with me out at Notre Dame. Love you guys and feel more blessed by the day.”

Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, March 7th, and I’d recommend being ready as soon as it’s time because this will sell out, and probably pretty damn fast:

This announcement comes on the heels of Zach selling out the University of Michigan’s Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, a concert that will also take place this fall and is already “biggest ticketed show in American history.” It will be the first-ever concert at Michigan Stadium, and John Mayer, Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen and Joshua Slone are set to open the concert.

Zach might have a much lighter tour schedule this year, but the shows will pack a punch in terms of the sheer volume and magnitude of the venues.

Zach Bryan Tour Dates

So far, Zach only has a few other shows for 2025, and the Oklahoma native also sold out three nights at MetLife Stadium with the Kings of Leon as his supporting act, and he announced that he will head to the west coast as well. On August 15th, Zach Bryan will perform with the Kings of Leon, Turnpike Troubadours and Noeline Hofmann at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. He will also play the aforementioned concert at Michigan Stadium.

He has also been teasing and releasing a lot of new music, and promises to release an EP called With Heaven On Top sooner rather than later.
