Well that’s quite the change.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Congresswoman – sorry, Congressperson – from New York who was served in the House of Representatives since 2019, is generally considered one of the more liberal/progressive/woke members of Congress.
The 35-year old former bartender has made waves and has often found herself a target of criticism from conservatives for her liberal positions, including for her role in causing Amazon to pull out of a planned headquarters in her district and her staged crying photo when she posed by a parking lot near the border.
While we're talking about staged events, remember when AOC faked seeing migrant children in Texas? She stood in front of an empty parking lot, near a fence, and fake cried like she was overcome with emotion… from seeing a parking lot. A parking lot. pic.twitter.com/dg0kuHMRS7

And as most liberals are, AOC is big on using pronouns to show that she’s an ally with the transgender community. Back in 2022, AOC apologized when somebody asked her to add pronouns to her Instagram bio, claiming that they “used to be there” but that they must have “fell off.”
2 years ago, AOC posted an apology for forgetting to put pronouns in her bio
She just removed them on X.#Trump #ElonMusk #USAElections #news #USA #Bidenpic.twitter.com/PNDZYb9SAH

Now, is there any reason for AOC to have pronouns on her social media? Is she getting called by the wrong pronouns on a regular basis? Or is she just virtue signaling to the far left to prove that she’s sufficiently progressive? Well, I’ll let you decide that one for yourself.
But folks over on Twitter (sorry, didn’t mean to call it by the wrong name, I mean X) recently noticed that AOC seems to have removed the pronouns from her bio there too.
Or did they just fall off?

Now, many assumed that she removed her pronouns after seeing the results of the 2024 presidential election, when voters seemed to reject the left’s transgender ideology and policies like allowing biological men in women’s sports, as well as so called “gender-affirming care” for children.
🚨 Apparently AOC removed pronouns from her bio. Nature is healing. Cultural victory. https://t.co/V3idL73Vts pic.twitter.com/PVOnngguUw

If you’re wondering why AOC ditched her pronouns in her bio, it might have something to do with the massive exodus from the Democrat Party by Hispanic voters.
Many have conservative values and aren’t thrilled with gender ideology.

It's true. AOC's pronouns are no longer in her bio.
All it took for Democrats to abandon the pronoun craze was a drubbing at the ballot box.
The moral crusade was abandoned the very minute the establishment realized it was a political albatross. pic.twitter.com/Ahm1Tql2IR

How big was Trump's win in this election? So big that AOC removed her pronouns from her profile. pic.twitter.com/IN7TQqMyKC

@AOC has been unburdened by what has been. 🤣🤣 https://t.co/n4Eie98Ycw

But thanks to the Internet Archive, users were able to pinpoint that the pronouns (which were she/her, just for the record) were removed at some point between October 2023 and May 2024.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC took her pronouns out of her X bio.
According to the Internet Archive, this happened at some point between Aug. 3, 2023 and May 18, 2024. In Nov. 2022, she apologized for not including her pronouns in her Insta bio, saying "They fell off." pic.twitter.com/4Rj7c5Q9Fi

That still didn’t stop anybody from mocking her for seemingly having a change of heart on the importance of the use of pronouns to be “inclusive” – and questioning whether she’s finally seen the light and will be “transitioning” to the right.
AOC deleted pronouns from her bio. this is a direct threat to the trans community and we will not stand for it. everyone please report her

The change was also noticed just days after AOC asked her Instagram followers who voted for Trump which podcasts they listened to, and also asked for followers who voted for both her and Trump to share their reasoning for splitting their ticket.
AOC asked her followers who split their ballots either for Trump/her or Trump/downballot Dem to explain why and posted the replies: pic.twitter.com/LuTcD29szt

But even her fellow Congresswoman, Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia, was questioning why the change in her colleague’s Twitter bio:
.@AOC needs to explain herself after shoving gender lies and insane ideology down people’s throats for years, why has she removed her pronouns? https://t.co/pJIH6lLGtO

I know this change from AOC happened well before the election, but it seems like more and more Democrats are speaking out against their own party when it comes to their stance on the debate surrounding transgender ideology. One Democrat Congressman, Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, recently questioned why it’s not acceptable for him to say that he doesn’t believe biological men should be playing women’s sports.
And naturally, he quickly received a ton of backlash from those in his own party over the comments.
Democratic congressman Seth Moulton: “I have two little girls. I don’t want them getting run over on the playing field by a male or formerly male athlete. But as a Democrat, I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.”
One of his top aides just resigned over this. It’s funny how much…

I have a feeling we’ll start to see more and more Democrats start to break from their own party over the whole pronoun/transgender policies, as they realize that not only do most Americans not agree with them, but if the recent election is any indication, it may actually be costing them votes.
Because we all know that’s all that matters to these people, right? They’ll say and do whatever they can to get elected, whether they believe it or not.
