Those breakup songs will not be kept in the vault for long.

If you have been living under a rock, congratulations, you have missed out on the breakup heard worldwide. Zach Bryan and Barstool personality Brianna Chickenfry have called it quits, and despite asking for privacy (HA!), it’s been on the frontpage of the internet ever since.

Here’s the CliffNotes version…

Weeks before the breakup, fans began speculating if there was trouble in paradise as ZB and Brianna had not been spotted out together in a significant period of time, and for a couple constantly posting one another that was out of character, but Brianna addressed fans that they were “together now and everything’s ok.”

Fast-forward a few weeks, and fans began to speculate again that the couple split after screenshots of ZB on the popular dating app (which is connected to your Instagram profile) circulated the internet. Those speculations were quickly confirmed true after ZB shared on his Instagram story that he and Brianna had indeed broken up.

“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her.

I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.

Brianna then took to her page, sharing that she felt blindsided that Bryan made the breakup public information without telling her first.

“But, um yeah, I’m probably not gonna post this for a little while, but I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up, and I had no idea that post was going up.

“He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me, I just woke up to a bunch of texts like ‘Are you okay?’ and I’m like, did my f*****n’ dad die? And yeah, so I’m like completely blindsided by that. I also genuinely feel like I have… see how swollen my face is?”

After news of their split went mega-viral, Brianna took a few days away from social media before making a return that she was back and better than ever and told fans to “f**k men, and kill ’em all.” While that was Chickenfry’s healing tactic, ZB hit the songbooks, teasing a few new songs that were seemingly inspired by the breakup, “Motorbreath” and “All Good Things Past.”

Today, the news of their split was stirred up once again when Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, Brianna’s co-hosts on the BFFs Podcast, released a brutal (and, I mean brutal) diss track. Portnoy and Richards left it all out on the table, taking shots at every aspect of Bryan’s life, his music and his alleged wrongdoings before and after his relationship with Brianna.

Just take a look at the lyrics and listen to it for yourself.

“You say you remember everything, I guess not because you forgot about your wedding ring
This ain’t a subtweet, I ain’t coming subliminal, you’re great at being country without a second syllable
My fist plus your face, simple addition
The way you did her wrong, man is sickening.”

The video has since been removed from YouTube (blocked by WME on copyright grounds) and from streaming platforms like Spotify.

Amid the slander, he shared his Instagram story this afternoon, alluding to the fact that he is dropping music tonight.

“World’s been a bit heavy lately, new music tonight.”

Of course, given the political landscape and the election news right now, that could also be some of the “heavy” he is referring to. It’s no doubt been a tough few weeks for Zach and he’s always been one to wear his heart on his sleeve. He’s also always been one to immediately get his feelings out with a song.

He shared as a band practices in a studio-looking room. Given his preview for “All Good Things Past” featured horns, it makes one wonder if that is the song he could be dropping tonight. Either way, fans are excited that he’s putting out new songs sooner rather than later.

For fans who do not like what he did to Brianna but are fans of his music, this is an instance where you have to separate the art from the artist.

I can’t wait to see what ZB has in store for us fans.
